1. 匿名ユーザーからの質問: What is your favorite flag?

What a nice random question. My favorite flag is the Flag of Sweden. I like the classy scheme of only two colors, and the Nordic cross that extends to the edges of the flag. How the Nordic Cross quadrisects the rectangular plane. This design is shared by the Flag of Denmark, so I guess my preference extends to this flag as well. I feel the colors for each flag respectively go together very well. Those shades of blue and yellow, and white and that shade of red.

On a different matter, if I could choose my country if I were to be born in Europe, I’d probably choose Sweden, France, Germany, or England.

Hope and Fear by Ethan Van Sciver

Two classic superheroes armed with the most powerful weapons of the DC Universe, recent inventions by the writers. Superman the Steel Man of Hope and Batman the Dark Knight of Fear. Two classic heroes who, for decades in comics have fought with only their own powers, are now being supplemented by power rings, which the lantern colors blue and yellow came long after green. I like how the colors of the Emotional Spectrum takes precedence over the individuals’ costume colors. I also like how the heroes are garbed in two colors, black and their respective aligned color because, due to the colors’ association with the Emotional Spectrum, it makes a simple big statement of the heroes’ associated emotion with their core. And also the precedence of their possibly canon membership in their respective corps over their individual hero identities. Less colors is also more. Black goes with almost anything.
Superman with the Blue Power Ring, the most powerful, would make him overpowered. Batman with the Yellow Power Ring adds to his already formidable arsenal, or replaces it, yet it makes me question. The Sinestro Corps is an enemy of the Green Lantern Corps, which pretty much makes them the bad guys, so what does this make for Batman? Of course Batman is a good guy, so perhaps Sinestro/Yellow Lantern Corps becomes a more diverse organization.
The Lantern Corps ought to recruit more members. :P Okay comic nerd blog post over. Piss off.

When they asked about his “magic power,” Tesshu told them: “It is nothing out of the ordinary. If your mind is empty, it reflects the ‘distortions’ and shadows present in others minds. In swordsmanship no-mind allows us to see the perfect place to strike; in daily life if enables us to see into another’s heart.” from The Sword of no Sword: The life of Master Warrior Tesshu by John Stevens

  8. Remember and Write Out

I have met and known at least two people whom, as children, I didn’t get along with later as teens, or whom I hated and distrusted, and fast forward a few years later after, they act friendly with me and claim they don’t remember what they did, as if not…

Metroid II was the first Gameboy game I owned as a child. I knew about Metroid, due to mysteriously having the instructor’s manual for the game, but I didn’t have the game, nor the NES.…
